Reference Tonearm Gen III

The Vertere Reference Tonearm Gen. III is the company’s flagship tonearm, engineered to provide an exceptionally precise mechanical interface between cartridge and record groove. Its design focuses on minimising friction, resonance and unwanted movement, allowing the cartridge to track the groove with maximum accuracy and consistency.

The arm features a titanium headshell and arm tube, with the tube machined to an exceptionally thin 0.4mm wall for an outstanding rigidity-to-weight ratio. The sculpted headshell is fuse-welded to the arm tube to form a unified structure, providing a rigid and mechanically stable platform for the cartridge.

A unique bearing assembly uses several-hundred-micron-thick Kevlar threads to provide ultra-low-friction horizontal and vertical movement without stiction. The Reference Tonearm also incorporates an advanced counterweight system, including a tungsten-carbide insert and additional counterweight discs, allowing it to accommodate a wide range of cartridge weights.

Additional details include an illuminated headshell cueing light, battery-powered dimmable LED power supply, illuminated anti-skate dial, proprietary lift/lower mechanism and Vertere’s hand-built Pulse-HB tonearm cable. Together, these features reflect Vertere’s focus on precise mechanical control and high-quality signal transmission.
