The Vertere Sabre MM is a high-end moving-magnet cartridge designed and hand-crafted in the UK to exacting standards. Its precision-machined solid aluminium alloy body is mass-tuned to the generator, providing a rigid and controlled platform designed to minimise unwanted mechanical vibration and energy transfer.
At its heart, the Sabre uses an Alnico magnet chosen for its strong magnetic field and long-term stability. The generator is secured to the body using four precisely positioned stainless-steel spike screws, while three dedicated contact areas on the cartridge provide controlled mechanical coupling to the tonearm. A machined alignment ridge also assists with accurate cartridge positioning.
The Sabre’s elliptical diamond stylus is bonded to an aluminium tube cantilever, with each cantilever and suspension individually positioned and aligned at Vertere. The combination of a low-mass moving-magnet generator, carefully engineered mechanical structure and 4.0mV output is designed to deliver a wide, dynamic presentation with strong bass, precise imaging and detailed, low-noise vinyl playback.
