The Acoustic Signature Invictus Junior NEO was developed as a more compact interpretation of the company’s flagship Invictus NEO, while retaining its emphasis on high mass, mechanical stability and vibration control. Its massive aluminium chassis incorporates Constraint Layer Damping (CLD), while a 16.5 kg oversized sandwich platter combines anodised aluminium and brass with Acoustic Signature’s Silencer technology.
The turntable uses four completely insulated AC motors in a belt-drive arrangement, with speed fine adjustment controlled through the external DMC-20 digital motor controller. The controller also incorporates Acoustic Signature’s Level 3 AVC (Anti-Vibration Control) system.
A high-precision Dura Turn Diamond (DTD) bearing uses a diamond-coated spindle, while three height-adjustable gel-damped feet provide the three-point support system. The adjustable arm base can accommodate up to four 9- to 12-inch tonearms using interchangeable mounting boards.
