The Acoustic Signature Montana NEO is a high-mass turntable engineered around a combination of substantial construction, precision drive technology and extensive vibration control. Its massive 3-inch aluminium alloy chassis incorporates Constraint Layer Damping (CLD), while the anodised aluminium platter uses integrated Silencer modules to reduce unwanted platter vibration.
The Montana NEO employs three completely insulated AC motors driving the platter through an RPM-regulated double-belt system. Speed is controlled by the external DMC-20 digital motor controller, which features a super-stable multi-voltage power supply and Acoustic Signature’s Level 3 AVC (Anti-Vibration Control) system.
A high-precision Dura Turn Diamond bearing uses a diamond-coated spindle, while three height-adjustable gel-damped aluminium feet provide a stable three-point setup. The turntable is prepared for up to two tonearms, with adjustable armboards supporting 9- to 12-inch tonearms.
