CLEAR AND VIVID SOUND REPRODUCTION
The TAD-E1AX speaker system features TAD’s proprietary Coherent Source Transducer (CST) driver, engineered to deliver exceptionally natural and lifelike sound. Building on the proven performance of the 14 cm CST driver, this compact design reflects TAD’s enduring commitment to point-source sound reproduction. Its concentrically arranged midrange and tweeter units provide carefully controlled directivity and precise acoustic alignment, minimizing phase inconsistencies and ensuring seamless sound integration. Like the tweeter employed in TAD’s flagship R1TX speaker system, the E1AX uses an exceptionally lightweight yet rigid beryllium diaphragm, meticulously crafted through TAD’s proprietary vapor-deposition process. Together, these advanced technologies achieve stable and precise sound image localization, creating a coherent, natural soundstage across an exceptionally wide frequency range of 420 Hz to 60 kHz.
INCREDIBLY EXPANSIVE MID-TO-LOW FREQUENCY RANGE
The TAD-E1AX features a 16 cm woofer equipped with a Multi-layered Aramid Composite Cone (MACC) diaphragm, engineered to deliver superior rigidity, enhanced internal damping, and optimized vibration characteristics. This advanced cone structure is created by layering woven aramid fabric with non-woven fabrics of different materials, individually formed and carefully bonded into a unified composite diaphragm. Driving the woofer is TAD’s Linear Drive Magnetic Circuit (LDMC), designed to ensure highly linear and accurate motion. Through this meticulous combination of materials and engineering, the E1AX reproduces deep, rich bass with minimal distortion while delivering a smooth, articulate, and well-balanced mid-to-low frequency response.
RICH AND NATURAL-SOUNDING BASS
The TAD-E1AX incorporates a Bidirectional ADP (Aero-Dynamic Port) System, featuring a bass-reflex port positioned at the bottom of the enclosure, with openings directed toward both the front and rear. Its specially designed horn-shaped interior minimizes port noise while improving airflow efficiency, enabling clean, dynamic, and responsive mid-to-low frequency reproduction. The die-cast aluminum port flare, combined with the symmetrical front-and-rear configuration, helps counteract enclosure vibrations generated by internal air pressure, supporting powerful and well-controlled bass performance. Further enhancing stability, a precision-machined steel base plate measuring 10 mm thick is mounted beneath the enclosure. This robust foundation helps suppress unwanted movement and counterbalances the reaction forces produced by the twin woofers, ensuring deeper, more controlled, and naturally balanced bass reproduction.

The TAD-E1AX is offered in two refined finishes to suit a variety of interior styles: the classic black (K), carried over from its predecessor, and the newly introduced glossy white (GW). Each enclosure is meticulously finished by skilled artisans, undergoing a careful process that includes the application of premium clear coatings, precise base-coat buffing, and final surface polishing to achieve a flawless, lustrous appearance. For added convenience and protection, the E1AX comes equipped with non-slip pads to ensure secure placement, a dedicated cleaning cloth for maintenance, and woofer grilles specially designed to minimize any impact on acoustic performance.
