3 PROCESSORS
The Server engine handles your files and stream- ing services, sending the audio directly to the player stage or your DAC. It also allows stream- ing over your network to other devices. The Player engine plays the audio either through a re-clocker or via a USB Audio 2.0 compliant out- put to your DAC. The Re-clocker engine ensures accurate timing when playing the audio to your DAC, using S/PDIF, AES3, or I2S connections.
DESIGN
The Oladra incorporates high-quality components and operates through several computing and processing stages.
It features a custom-built computer specifically optimized for Server Apps, as well as another one optimized for Player Apps. These distinct systems work in tandem to enhance performance.
The signal processing involves multiple cascaded stages, resulting in a high-bandwidth signal with virtually no noise below the bitrate threshold. This precision ensures that binary data transitions are accurately timed. Importantly, this meticulous timing enables the Oladra’s ultra-stable clocking circuits to transmit a clean and precisely synchronized signal to your digital-to-analog converter (DAC).
