Design
The design has been optimized in terms of puristic elegance. This can be seen, among other things, in the screwless integrated loudspeaker front panel, the appearance of which allows the slim shape of the loudspeaker to come into its own. In this way, it is possible to make the appearance of the loudspeaker appear less technical or mechanical, but rather in the style of an elegant furniture design. The aluminum front rounds off the look of the speaker with high-quality paintwork in matt lacquer or selected veneers.
Handmade
The Burmester B38 loudspeaker offers two different options for individual adaptation of the sound experience, with the help of which a significant reduction in room influences can be brought about. The two-stage switch on the rear wall of the case causes a broadband bass reduction of 1-3 dB between 150 Hz and 37 Hz Room situation or personal listening preferences. Of course, the B38 offers the option of connecting two power amplifiers per loudspeaker (bi-amping). In classic single amp operation, the high-quality connection bridges made of gold oxygen-free copper the copper terminals with the same material properties. In this way, undesirable contact resistances are practically completely avoided.
